Thank you to everyone who has welcomed me to the Club. In my first 6 months as General Manager we have been faced with one of the wettest winters on record. Our greens staff have continued to work hard through the wet spells to ensure we can open the course where possible. They have completed works on both the 4th and 6th hole which has had a positive impact on the course.

While it has been a slow start to the competitive season, we start to see the clouds drift away and some sunshine allowing the course to continue to drain. The greens staff move their attention to the tree work, the paths and the 3rd hole which will be completed in the forthcoming weeks.

In other news, our Sunday lunch is becoming increasingly popular so please join us and enjoy some well deserved time with the family. Bookings are taken at the club and lunch served from 12pm every Sunday.

Thursday night we have our late-night range opening and are planning on opening the restaurant during this time. Please let us know any suggestions you may have and we welcome your support

I am delighted to welcome our new Golf Operations Manager, James Gauden who started with us on 1st February. If you see him around, please make him feel welcome and share your ideas with him.

R&A Rule Change

The new rules are now in place; putting with the flag in, dropping out of bunkers & 3 minute ball searching. This is one of the biggest changes to the rules of golf, and for that reason please take some time to flick through some of the main changes.
