I have enjoyed my year as Lady Captain and thank you all for your support. The ladies have a great rapport with the seniors and a highlight of my year was our Halloween Texas Scramble involving 44 golfers. Lady Captain’s day was another very special day with 20 ladies playing, I was thoroughly spoilt by you all! Thank you.

I like to thank everyone for their continued support for my charity, the MS Society throughout my year as Lady Captain. The total raised was a fantastic £4035.72.

Thanks to the Ladies’ Committee who worked together throughout the year to effectively run the ladies’ section. If any lady member (for a minimum of 12 months) would like to join us, you would be most welcome. It is good to enlist new people with different knowledge, skills and experiences. The committee are here for you, so please feel free to approach any member with your idea(s).

Oli’s first of ten ladies’ golf lessons started on Tuesday, 18th February, 9am -10am. We had great fun & saw improvements to our chipping technique. Oli has set up a WhatsApp group and Carlie has set up the new Wharton Park Ladies’ Facebook page.

Thanks to Steph for being an excellent Vice Captain and I know she will make a fantastic Lady Captain.
