The Course

Wharton Park's picturesque 18 hole championship golf course is well-known and respected, having been designed by Course Architect Howard Swan around a 43 acre Royal Forest.

It is an incredibly attractive course to play, offering a variety of interesting features including water features on the 14th, 16th & 18th fairways. It offers challenging golf, with advantages which reward the more experienced golfer whilst encouraging the higher handicapper. The course is to USGA Standard, 6455 yards, Par 71.

The Epitome of Modern Course Design

Buggy tracks have been constructed around the whole course. We also have practice putting and pitching greens, a state-of-the-art floodlit driving range and full coaching facilities. Spikey’s Kafe is open from early morning, with a large modern pro shop and comfortable lounge bar with TV overlooking the 18th green.
